About the Role
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for various technology areas including Windows and Virtualization, Networking, Database Management (SQL and MySQL), Storage, and Backup solutions. You will receive comprehensive training in multiple technologies, allowing you to specialize in a particular area that aligns with your skills and interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive monitoring and health checks of the IT environment.
- Address and resolve user tickets promptly and efficiently.
- Perform remote troubleshooting and ask targeted questions to diagnose issues.
- Test various solutions until issues are resolved, following ITIL processes.
- Collaborate with senior team members and adhere to customer-specific processes.
- Work during business hours, with a willingness to work outside of standard hours, including weekends when necessary.
- Escalate major IT incidents and manage user account provisioning and termination.
- Maintain high-quality customer service on both inbound and outbound calls.
- Monitor the Service Desk queue to ensure timely resolution of tickets.
- Participate in formal and informal training sessions to enhance your skills.
- Follow information security policies diligently.
Work Environment
Candidates must be ready to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment and be open to relocation to other Zensar locations as required.
